The Governor’s Small Business Summit – Pharr aims to help Texas small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs reach new heights by connecting them with the resources and information needed to start, strengthen and grow a business. This event offers a variety of sessions bringing together local, state and federal resource partners to provide key insights on critical business topics. It’s also an opportunity to network with other business owners and meet experts who will share timely, relevant and actionable advice on a multitude of small business subjects.

This exciting tournament brings together golf enthusiasts, community leaders, and philanthropists for a day of friendly competition and charitable giving. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit Pharr EDC Foundation, which provides financial assistance to students pursuing higher education.

The Pharr City Commission has declared October as “Manufacturing Month” to recognize the vital role manufacturing plays in Texas’ economy. The Pharr EDC will host the 5th Annual Manufacturing Day in Pharr on October 9th and was thrilled to invite over 15 manufacturing-related companies and partners to share insights on careers, their innovative products, and the industry’s impact on our community. High School students heard engaging presentations, obtained valuable information, and received sample products from exhibitors.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the participating companies for exhibiting their products. Together, we celebrated the vital role of manufacturing in driving our community forward. – THANK YOU for your contributions!
